Walks at Calder Gardens

Walks at Calder Gardens are intimate experiences designed to foster personal connections with art. Alongside specially trained guides, you will explore the gardens and galleries in small groups, engaging in reflective close-looking and conversations that inspire new and transformative perspectives on art and wellness.

These 45-minute experiences are perfect for both new visitors and returning ones seeking a deeper exploration of how Alexander Calder’s art, united with architecture and nature, offers different ways of thinking and feeling.

These 45-minute walks invite participants on a reflective journey through the different indoor and outdoor areas of Calder Gardens. Participants are encouraged to slow down, notice, and engage with the space in conversation, both with their Walk Companion and with one another. Each walk unfolds uniquely, shaped by the perspectives of those present and the ever-changing atmosphere of the site.
