Walks
Our In-Depth Contemplation Walks invite participants on a reflective journey through the different indoor and outdoor areas of Calder Gardens. Each 45-minute walk unfolds uniquely, shaped by the perspectives of those present and the ever-changing atmosphere of the site.
Held daily at 11:30am & 1:30pm, walks are $30 ($15 for members) and include admission; capacity is limited. Book tickets. Private walks are also available.
Additionally, we offer other ways to deepen your experience at Calder Gardens. Please ask the front desk staff for more information at the time of your visit.

Accessibility

Wheelchairs
Our facility is fully accessible to standard-size wheelchairs. A limited number of wheelchairs are available on-site; no reservations are required.
Restrooms
Restrooms are located on the lower level, accessible by elevator. Restrooms are all gender and have wheelchair-accessible stalls and baby-changing stations.
Parking
We do not have on-site parking facilities. Passenger drop-off is located on 22nd Street between the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and Vine Street Expressway. The accessible drop-off point is about 350 feet from the main entrance.
The closest accessible parking spots are located in the Franklin Institute garage at 271 North 21st Street. Parking is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Assistive Listening Devices
Assistive listening devices (ALDs) are available free of charge by request from our staff.
Service Animals
We welcome service animals, including those in training. Emotional support animals, pets, and any other animals are not permitted.
Personal Care Assistants
Personal care assistants (PCAs) receive complimentary admission when accompanying a visitor to Calder Gardens. For advance tickets, email info@caldergardens.org or call 215.278.7250 to request a complimentary ticket for a PCA.
Free Admission
We offer free admission to ACCESS/EBT/Art-Reach ACCESS cardholders, including individuals receiving medical assistance only.

The Calder Gardens Shop offers a selection of books, prints, and gifts.
We have no on-site dining, but many options are available nearby, including the Barnes Foundation’s Garden Restaurant and Reflections Café.
