A paved path curves through a garden bed, flanked by grasses, phlox, coneflowers, and clusters of wildflowers. A bench with armrests sits beside the path, with a second bench further along. Light fixtures line the walkway. In the background, trees form a backdrop beneath a sky with clouds, while apartment buildings rise above the treeline, backlit by sun.

Weekdays, noon; weekends, noon and 2pm
$25, members $12 (includes admission)

Garden Walks invite visitors to explore our Piet Oudolf–designed garden and discover the ideas, processes, and care behind its creation. Each walk illuminates the garden’s design intent and planting philosophy, the practical layers beneath the beauty, and the landscape’s interplay with the art and architecture of Calder Gardens.

These 45-minute experiences are perfect for both new visitors and returning ones seeking a deeper appreciation for seasonal blooms, the garden’s structure and texture, and the living intentionality woven throughout Calder Gardens.

Garden Walks are offered from April to October and take place rain or shine.

Buy tickets online or at the front desk. Each walk is limited to 10 visitors.

Private walks and group experiences are also available. Call 215.278.7250 for more information.
